How Do I care for Little Bee's diapers, wipes, and mama pads?

Laundering Little Bee products is effortless. After use, we recommend soaking the diapers and mama pads in cold water with 1/2 cup of white vinegar and a pail full of cold water. On laundry day, simply put your diapers and pads in your washer on hot water, the largest load size, and 1/2 the normal amount of soap, make sure you use an extra rinse cycle! DO NOT use fabric softener or bleach! We recommend hang drying Little Bee diapers and pads for the best results. You may put Little Bee diapers and pads in your dryer for LOW heat for about 60 minutes but remove them when they are still damp. Hang dry until you are ready to use them. Following these simple suggestions, your Little Bee diapers and pads should last you for years to come!

Will I save money using cloth diapers?

It costs an average of $800-1000 per years to use disposable diapers on your child!  If they potty train by 2 years old, you have spent $1600-2000. If they potty train by 3 years old, you have spent $2400-3000!  The initial expense of cloth diapers may seem a little over whelming, about $250 per size or $750 per child! With proper care, Little Bee cloth diapers will last for years and children to come!

How many cloth diapers do I need?

It depends on how often you would like to wash the diapers. If you would like to wash diapers every other day double the daily usage and add a couple extra for wash time.

On average a baby uses:
0-6 month old 12 diapers a day
6-12 month old 10 diapers a day
12 months and up 8 diapers a day


How often should I change my child?

Little bee cloth diapers are made without the chemicals of disposable diapers, which turns urine to a gel. They are designed to hold about 1-2 urine outputs. Depending on your child, you could be changing every hour or every 3 hours. Cloth diapers can only absorb until the microfiber is full, then they will leak.

What is the diaper liners for?

Little Bee diaper liners help give an added layer of absorbency. They are great for heavy wetters, overnight protection, and trips out of the house. When I take my baby to the grocery store, I put a liner in giving her an extra layer.

How do I use the Little Bee baby wipes?

There are many options online for wipe mixes, but I do it a much simpler way! I use an empty commercial wipes container. I mix a little of my favorite baby soap and warm water. I get each wipe wet as I need them and use them just like a commercial baby wipe. Normally, I  use 2-3 per BM change.

Will I save money using mama pads?
